Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxyl acid derived from bitter almonds but is less irritating to the skin compared to Glycolic acid. Mandelic acid has a larger molecular weight that sits on the surface of the skin and gently exfoliates without irritating the skin. Mandelic acid helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and promotes skin cell turnover, lightens blemishes and dark spots, fights skin ageing and results in brighter, even-toned and healthier, radiant skin. Additional key ingredients like Panthenol, Centella Asiatica Extract and Beta-Glucan soothes and moisturizes the skin even after exfoliation.

This is the first Acid exfoliating product I had tried. It never irritated my sensitive skin. I was using it 1-2 times a week and my skin would look soft, bright and have less breakouts (the small zits we get). I am definitely gonna repurchase this in the future.

I love this one so much. I can use it daily as I suffer from serious and it has never once caused a reaction of any sort! I have used it as recommended just on it own, before and after toner and every time I have achieved desired results. I can never part with this, it is gentle as well as effective.
I was introduced to this one by a friend and her way of application is leaving it on for good 15mins and then applying anything on top. This way it helps absorption better and no wonder that is how I use it almost always!

Mandelic acid(AHA) by wishtrend is perfect for combination + sensitive skin, it worked pretty well for stubborn whiteheads in a few uses only but I personally didn’t think it works for blackheads or hormonal acne.

I am almost done with this toner lasted for close to a month, so maybe I can properly review it out here for others.
First off, it did and still does sting a little depending on your skin’s vulnerability at the point of application.
I used it during my Ladakh trip and because of the tan, it did sting my face whenever I used it. Not a major burning sensation but just little stinging effect.
Prior to this I was using the KLAIRS supple prep toner, which is non-watery more thicker consistency and I was used to that consistency.
This MANDELIC ACID is in true essence a proper toner with its runny consistency, but it failed to impart a plump that I felt from using KLAIRS supple prep toner.
Overall an average product – passable. Would not go for a 2nd purchase.

Writing this review after using this for a month. I use it daily at night ..at the toner step. I have sensitive, acne prone, combination skin. It is a mild exfoliator..and didn’t break me out. Gets easily absorbed without making the skin dry.
Changes that I noticed-
1.No more bumpy forehead
2. Reduced the sandy texture of my skin
3.Fading my acne scars..though very slowly..but definitely
4. Gives a healthy glow to the skin even when I don’t use a highlighter
Cons-
Didn’t help much with blackheads as of now.
Gets over very quickly although I use it only once a day(as compared to other toners of the same quantity that I have used).
I still get breakouts..though the number has decreased.
Will I repurchase-
Yes. But not now.Next, I want to try the Pixi Glow tonic as I want to test whether it’s really worth the hype..and also the two products are kinda similar they say.
Would I recommend it to others-
Yes definitely. It’s a good mild exfoliator. Everyone should try it atleast once and decide for themselves.

I bought this for my mom. U know how moms are. Completely clueless about skincare. Ageing signs prominen. No exfoliation.
Now I bought this for her and she is not a good student. So, yeah, she uses it very rare and irregularly. Still the product manages to give some effect on her skin. She has better glow, a little more hydration also, it seems. So yeah, a 5 star is what I like to give.

If you’re new to the acid toning game, Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water is a good place to start. Mandelic acid is a milder AHA, so it’s better for beginners who have never used AHAs before.
It does have a mild stinging sensation if you’re using it for the first time, which goes away quickly, and after a few uses your skin gets used to it as well.
I have oily-combination acne prone skin and use it every day as my daily toner. I have been using it for 5 weeks now, and my skin feels very smooth. I can see it giving me a clean slate for all my essences, sleeping masks to absorb better. Like, my skin looks visibly polished (?) and smooth. Not really an HG, but I am very happy with this. 4/5 for me.
REMINDER: Remember to wear sun cream after (or after any product with potent ingredients)! Also, it will not do much for blackheads because it’s an AHA- not BHA. Look into BHA products if blackheads are your main concern.
