Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxyl acid derived from bitter almonds but is less irritating to the skin compared to Glycolic acid. Mandelic acid has a larger molecular weight that sits on the surface of the skin and gently exfoliates without irritating the skin. Mandelic acid helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and promotes skin cell turnover, lightens blemishes and dark spots, fights skin ageing and results in brighter, even-toned and healthier, radiant skin. Additional key ingredients like Panthenol, Centella Asiatica Extract and Beta-Glucan soothes and moisturizes the skin even after exfoliation.

Mandelic acid is a milder AHA, so it’s better for beginners who have never used AHAs before. This mandelic acid toner is very mild. It evens out the skin tone n skin texture. Clears all those tiny bumps. Doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all.

My only skin concern is tiny bumps on my forehead and chins. I get it if I’m dehydrated and if I expose my bare face to direct sunlight without anything on my face. I use This mildest exfoliating toner on my PM routine followed by a moisturiser.
Tiny bumps here and there and this does the magic overnight. Love this so much and would recommend to and for all skin types ????

I have oily acne prone skin and I choose to try this out after emptying cosrx bha because of the brightening claims of the mandelic acid which I wish could help my oily dull skin. But to be honest, this is pretty mild exfoliator. Not a heavy duty one. Exfoliates the upper layer of the skin just like any aha but for oily skin which needs pretty much work inside the pores, this doesnt help. Its very watery. Smell doesnt bother me much. Didnt notice any brightening effects even after 5 mnths of consistent usage twice a week. Smoothens skin for sure. So its great for ppl with normal or dry sensitive skin. Oily skin ones please go with cosrx bha.
