How to use
- After your cleanser and toner step, apply a few drops of the Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop onto your hands and apply evenly across your face, particularly focusing on concerned areas. Pat gently until fully absorbed. (Recommended to be used in the PM routine for beginners).
- After toner and serum step, apply a small amount of the Dear Klairs Vitamin E Mask onto your hands and apply evenly across your face and neck areas. Pat gently until fully absorbed. (for both AM and PM routine).
Pro tip: If you are already accustomed to applying Vitamin C serum in your AM routine, it is strongly recommended by experts to use a good sunscreen and reapply it after every two hours to protect your skin from sun damage.

The Klairs Freshly Juiced Drop is a cult classic boasting of 5% L Ascorbic Acid & Centella Asiatica along with a host of other beneficial extracts. What I like most about this serum is the stability it offers, you can store this vitamin c without panicking about oxidation. It is gentle but still packs a punch and is quite moisturising.
Personally I can use the serum only in cold weather as I have combination oily skin but mixing it with the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask really changes the feel of it. I can mix and match depending on what I need and how my skin feels.
The Vitamin E mask is an excellent companion for the Vitamin C serum as vitamin e is an antioxidant and helps vitamin c in fighting off free radicals, pollution and so on. The duo when used together helps treat melasma & pigmentation. It offers maximum protection against pollutants and repairs the skin at the same. The vitamin e mask also has Niacinamide and Adenosine to improve skin health.
This duo can be used three ways to combat pigmentation and signs of aging. You can use the serum first and then the vitamin e mask or you can use the mask first as a light gel type moisturiser then follow up with the serum and SPF. My favourite way to use the duo is to mix one scoop of the vitamin e mask and 2/3 drops of the vitamin c serum creating a light but moisturising emulsion which I use on my face, neck, chest and back of hands. I am then ready to go about my day with a generous slathering of spf.
As I have been using this duo for more than two weeks now and have currently no active acne (just old stubborn pie), I think like any other gentle vitamin c serum I would need more time to comment on the fading of my dark spots. Please note that the older you get, the slower your skincells will turnover. My skin in particular takes time even with stronger LAA concentrations and exfoliators.
What I did notice was a subtle glow and a certain rosiness of my cheeks. I am someone who never has colour on the face so I quite liked seeing it look healthy & lively.
I recommend this gentle duo for beginners to vitamin c or for folks suffering from melasma & pigmentation issues.
